TERMS OF SERVICE
Purpose Plumbing, LLC
Effective Date: September 15, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern plumbing, repair, installation, maintenance, diagnostic, and related services provided by Purpose Plumbing, LLC ("Purpose Plumbing," "we," "us," or "our"), as well as your use of the Purpose Plumbing website.
By scheduling service, approving an estimate, authorizing work verbally, electronically, or in writing, or using our website, you ("Customer" or "you") agree to these Terms.
1. Estimates and Authorization
Purpose Plumbing may provide estimates or quotes based on information available at the time of inspection. Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, an estimate is based upon conditions that are reasonably visible or known at the time the estimate is prepared.
Plumbing systems frequently contain concealed components and conditions that cannot be fully evaluated until work begins. If additional problems, damage, code issues, defective components, concealed conditions, or other necessary work are discovered, Purpose Plumbing may stop work and provide the Customer with an updated estimate or request authorization for additional work.
Additional work outside the original scope may result in additional charges.
Authorization may be provided in writing, electronically, by text message, by approval through our service software, or verbally.
2. Diagnostic and Service Charges
Service call, dispatch, diagnostic, inspection, emergency, after-hours, or other applicable charges may be due regardless of whether the Customer elects to proceed with the recommended repair or replacement.
Payment for diagnostic services compensates Purpose Plumbing for the technician's time, expertise, travel, and evaluation and does not guarantee that a repair will be performed or that a particular problem can be resolved without additional work.
3. Repair vs. Replacement
When Purpose Plumbing recommends replacement of a fixture, appliance, component, pipe, system, or equipment but the Customer elects to attempt a repair instead, the Customer acknowledges that the repair may be temporary or unsuccessful.
Unless specifically stated otherwise in writing, Purpose Plumbing does not guarantee that an attempted repair will extend the useful life of equipment or eliminate the need for future repairs or replacement.
If a repair fails because of the age, deterioration, condition, or failure of another component, additional work will be considered a separate service and may result in additional charges.
4. Hidden and Unforeseen Conditions
Purpose Plumbing is not responsible for conditions that could not reasonably be identified before work began, including but not limited to:
• Concealed leaks or piping
• Corroded or deteriorated plumbing
• Improper prior repairs or installations
• Defective or non-code-compliant plumbing
• Mold, asbestos, lead, hazardous materials, or environmental conditions
• Structural defects
• Underground obstructions
• Damaged sewer or drain lines
• Electrical problems
• Water damage that existed before our work
• Conditions concealed behind walls, ceilings, floors, cabinets, concrete, landscaping, or other structures
Discovery of these conditions may require additional work and charges.
5. Access and Property Conditions
The Customer is responsible for providing Purpose Plumbing reasonable and safe access to the property and all areas necessary to perform the requested services.
The Customer should remove or protect furniture, valuables, personal belongings, electronics, and other items located near the work area.
Some plumbing work requires opening or removing drywall, flooring, cabinetry, tile, concrete, landscaping, or other materials to access plumbing components.
Unless specifically included in the written scope of work, Purpose Plumbing is not responsible for finish restoration such as drywall repair, painting, tile replacement, flooring repair, cabinetry repair, landscaping, or similar cosmetic work.
6. Customer-Supplied Materials and Fixtures
Purpose Plumbing may install fixtures, appliances, parts, or materials supplied by the Customer at our discretion.
Purpose Plumbing does not warrant Customer-supplied products and is not responsible for defects, missing components, incompatibility, shipping damage, manufacturer defects, or failures associated with Customer-supplied materials.
Additional labor required because of defective, incomplete, incorrect, or incompatible Customer-supplied products may be charged separately.
7. Drain and Sewer Services
Drain and sewer systems may contain pre-existing deterioration, breaks, root intrusion, improper installation, foreign objects, grease accumulation, collapsed piping, or other conditions that cannot be determined before service.
Clearing a drain or sewer blockage does not guarantee that another blockage will not occur.
Unless specifically stated in writing, drain cleaning does not constitute a warranty regarding the overall condition or future performance of the drain or sewer system.
Purpose Plumbing may recommend camera inspection, repair, replacement, hydro-jetting, or other services when circumstances warrant.
8. Water Damage
Plumbing failures can cause water damage before, during, or after service.
Purpose Plumbing is not responsible for pre-existing water damage or damage resulting from pre-existing plumbing defects, concealed deterioration, equipment failure, or conditions outside our reasonable control.
Customers should immediately notify Purpose Plumbing if they observe leaking or other problems following our service.
9. Permits and Code Requirements
Where permits or inspections are legally required and included within the agreed scope of work, Purpose Plumbing will perform the applicable work in accordance with relevant requirements.
Existing plumbing or other systems may not comply with current codes. If code deficiencies or additional work required by an inspector or governmental authority are discovered, such work may result in additional charges unless expressly included in the original agreement.
10. Payment
Payment is due according to the terms stated on the estimate, work order, invoice, or other agreement.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of the authorized work.
The Customer agrees to pay all amounts properly due for authorized services.
Returned payments, chargebacks, collection costs, or other costs resulting from nonpayment may be charged to the Customer to the extent permitted by law.
Purpose Plumbing reserves the right to suspend or discontinue work when payment obligations are not satisfied.
11. Deposits and Special-Order Materials
Purpose Plumbing may require deposits for larger projects, special-order materials, equipment, or scheduled work.
Deposits associated with materials or equipment specifically purchased for a Customer may be non-refundable to the extent those materials cannot reasonably be returned or cancelled.
Any applicable deposit or cancellation terms will be disclosed as part of the estimate or agreement.
12. Cancellations and Scheduling
Customers should provide reasonable notice when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment.
Purpose Plumbing reserves the right to charge a cancellation or missed-appointment fee when applicable and disclosed to the Customer.
Appointment times are estimates. Plumbing emergencies, job conditions, traffic, weather, material availability, and other circumstances may affect scheduling.
Purpose Plumbing is not liable for losses resulting from reasonable scheduling delays.
13. Warranty
Any warranty applicable to work performed by Purpose Plumbing will be stated on the applicable invoice, estimate, proposal, or written warranty documentation.
Manufacturer warranties on equipment, fixtures, and materials are governed by the applicable manufacturer's terms.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, warranties do not cover failures resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, freezing, improper maintenance, alterations by others, work performed by another contractor, abnormal water pressure, water quality, pre-existing conditions, acts of nature, or failures unrelated to the work performed by Purpose Plumbing.
Warranty service does not include unrelated plumbing problems merely because they occur after Purpose Plumbing performed work at the property.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Purpose Plumbing will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the services provided.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
15. Photos and Documentation
Purpose Plumbing may photograph or record plumbing components and work areas for documentation, estimating, warranty, insurance, training, and internal business purposes.
We will use reasonable care to avoid unnecessarily capturing personally sensitive information.
We will not use identifiable images of a Customer or the interior of a Customer's residence for public advertising without appropriate permission.
16. Communications and Text Messages
By providing a telephone number or email address in connection with a service request, the Customer authorizes Purpose Plumbing to communicate regarding appointments, estimates, invoices, service updates, follow-up, and other matters related to the Customer's relationship with Purpose Plumbing.
Marketing text messages, where applicable, are subject to any additional consent requirements required by law. Consent to receive marketing communications is not a condition of purchasing plumbing services.
Message and data rates may apply. Customers may opt out of marketing text messages by replying STOP.
17. Website Information
Information provided on the Purpose Plumbing website is intended for general informational purposes and should not be considered a substitute for an on-site professional evaluation.
Plumbing recommendations and pricing may vary depending upon the specific property, equipment, materials, accessibility, code requirements, and conditions discovered during inspection or service.

21. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
22. Changes to These Terms
Purpose Plumbing may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.
Terms applicable to a particular service transaction will be interpreted together with the estimate, invoice, proposal, work order, or other agreement associated with that service.
